“No one has ever become poor by giving.” ~Anne Frank So if you’ve been connected to me on social media you may have heard that last night we were featured on our local channel 13 news. There’s no video online but they did share this article on their web site… I’ve had a ton of […]

Chance’s super powers

“It’s your reaction to adversity, not the adversity itself, that determines how your life’s story will develop.” ~Dieter Uchtdorf Just over a week ago Chance underwent his 12th surgery, a chiari decompression surgery. Stacey - I am so glad to hear Chance had a speedy recovery. This post brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. I know the love you have for Chance because I have the same immense love for my Beau. Our children are lucky to have us and our lives wouldn’t be as sweet without these precious gifts.

Stacey Lockhart - I’m overjoyed to hear Chance did great during this surgery. It makes me think back to Beau and his decompression almost 2 years ago. I am amazed and elated to read your blog updates, your story is so near to my heart. We have struggled in many similar situations with our boys, and I couldn’t ask for a better pick me up when my days get rough. Praying your sweet boy heals and he gets a break. You’re incredible Amanda, and Chance and your older children are lucky to have you for a mom.

My 5.5 month old nephew was diagnosed with hydrocephalus one month ago and it’s so helpful to have found your bog.

preparing for Chance’s 12th surgery

“You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it.” ~unknown A dear friend shared this sentiment earlier this year, and surely it seems quite fitting to share tonight, the night prior to Chance’s 12th surgery.
