November 2, 2008 - 11:27 am - I can't believe he is growing up so fast. As I had said a while back in a e-mail it just seemed like yesterday I was holding him as a newborn!. I sure wish I was healthier and in a better condition with the job situation etc that I could have been down there. I sure do miss them. I look at the pictures and hear their giggles and wish I was there. It makes me happy and sad. Hopefully things will turn around fast. Give them both hugs and kisses from me and Ashley and tell them that we love them and wish we could be there. Love you guys!
This past month I was humored to hear Jaylen’s crying compared to a velociraptor. He’s started to become much more vocal and and expressive, which includes his cries. November 26, 2007 - 7:50 pm - That's so sweet how close Hope is to her brother. My sister and I were only born two years apart, so I was too young to remember when she was born. I wonder if I was just as excited. And I thought it was funny that I read this sentence, "He’s beginning to get a lot more expressive" as, "He's beginning to get a lot more expensive." :D Silly me.

October 14, 2007 - 7:00 pm - Thanks! @ Colette I wouldn't quite say natural – I definitely had a lot of help from the good ol' epidural. Unfortunately they had to redo the epidural halfway through labor, which I think was about 6 1/2 hrs - ad a whopping 2 pushes...
