That’s so sweet how close Hope is to her brother. My sister and I were only born two years apart, so I was too young to remember when she was born. I wonder if I was just as excited.
And I thought it was funny that I read this sentence, “He’s beginning to get a lot more expressive” as, “He’s beginning to get a lot more expensive.” 
Silly me.
Sorry I could not be ther for her big 6 party! I am so glad she is enjoying being a big sister still. She is a very special girl and Jaylen will also be a very special boy. Tell them both I said hi and that I love them.

Poor baby. I’m so glad everything is alright. I couldn’t even imagine how hard it would be to go through all of that. Definitely a blessing in disguise.
PS – Jaylen is so CUTE. I usually don’t say things like that about babies.
Oh Amanda – he is just beautiful – I love the picture of him and Jason doing the high five. So glad that everything checked out fine and yes we should all count our blessings.
CAN’T even begin to imagine going through all that- I cried when they took blood from Savannah when she was a baby…
Glad everything is well now. I’ll keep you all in my prayers.

Congrats my friend! You and the baby look great! Did you have a natural birth and how long were you in labor? Usually the second child comes faster than the first. I am so glad both are healthy. Get some rest and I will see you at the wedding on Jan 1, 08

I wouldn’t quite say natural – I definitely had a lot of help from the good ol’ epidural. Unfortunately they had to redo the epidural halfway through labor, which I think was about 6 1/2 hrs – ad a whopping 2 pushes…

awww! Amanda he is precious! i really like the name you chose its not a very common name, i love that. I was looking at the photos and Hope really looks happy. She is going to really have great time with her baby brother, it looks like she is already showing that she is protective, just by her body language in holding him.
