“To ease another’s heartache is to ease one’s own.” ~ Abraham Lincoln It’s been a busy day so I’m just now getting a moment to share the news of the winner of the free photo session I have chosen to give away to those who helped create awareness about Spina Bifida by purchasing a t-shirt […]

Congrats, Aimee!!!! And thank you to all who have helped support the SBACFL!!!!
This week I got to meet with one of my former students, Claudia Mundlos and her husband Jose to meet their newborn son, Nicholas. Nicholas arrived three weeks early weighing less than 5 1/2 lbs. He was still such a cute little peanut when I met him at 10 days old. This little guy definitely […]

Thank you so much for this beautiful blog post, what a great memory! We had a wonderful time, and are thrilled how the pictures turned out!! You are so talented and we were impressed how patient you were with little Nicolas The pictures are absolutely amazing!! Jose and I are very happy
Two days after my little nephew was born I already had to go back to Germany, and of course I missed my sister, Jose and the cute little smurf already in the airplain. Your pictures are more than photography, they carry feelings, they carry love. I admire your work, it makes me happy every time I watch the pictures and it makes me forget for a little while that I miss them so much…
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill With just over 36 days until the baby is due to arrive, I thought it was perfect timing to do something good. I don’t think words can really truly describe how scared, nervous, and overwhelmed […]

You totally rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for helping out the SBACFL by spreading the word! Look forward to meeting you in person very soon!
That is very generous of you. We are in CA and actually bought a ton last year but just wanted to say thank you for spreading the word. We will be praying for you and your family as you await the arrival of you sweet little one.
Almost three years ago i was where you are now…. Relax & cherish every moment. It is a difficult and heartbreaking road for now but when you hold your baby in your arms you will become a bigger stronger person than you ever thought you could be. You will gain a perspective on the only important things in life from there on in. Best wishes from county donegal, ireland
I just sent you an email. You are an amazing person and such an inspiration!
“The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.” -Socrates We went in for another ultrasound at just over 32 weeks and overall things are continuing to progress well. The baby had a heart rate of 128 beats per minute and is estimated to weight 3 pounds 15 ounces. That’s about a pound and […]

“A moment lasts all of a second, but the memory lives on forever.” ~Unknown I think most people that know me know I’m just a tad bit obsessed with taking photos…and have been for many years. Though I only began pursuing photography seriously in the last three years, I’ve always found photography an outlet to […]

Thank you so much for sharing. I am doing my 365 project this year for the 1st time and I loved reading this and thank you for the tips. I have posted 2 of my photos frommy 365 project on my webpage lmk what you think of them
Thanks for this blog and all the tips you provide! I originally planned on doing 365 this year as a way to improve my skills, but due to a crazy work schedule, I scaled back to a “Photo of the Week” goal. This year I vowed to carry my camera everyday, as last year I experienced so many moments of missed opportunities. I am happy to hear that I am not the only one that carries a camera on a daily basis- I don’t feel so odd now. LOL. Look forward to reading more of your blog this year!
Love this blog post! I tried my luck at a project 52 in 2008. My goal was to bring my camera everywhere but if a moment came around and I didn’t have my Canon, my cell phone camera would work just fine. In my facebook I have the first few weeks of it before life distracted me and I stopped.. Im feeling inspired to start it up again! Thanks!
