creating awareness of spina bifida

So if you’ve been connected to me on social media you may have heard that last night we were featured on our local channel 13 news. There’s no video online but they did share this article on their web site…

I’ve had a ton of friends, family and those within the spina bifida community asking if there was a way to see the video. Right now the story is only being shared on tv, which is only on brighthouse, but it is airing every half hour and I believe it’ll be shared for most of today. I’ve mentioned to channel 13 that there’s a lot of requests to see the story online by those who don’t have cable and also those who live outside of the Orlando area. The most I can suggest is to voice your wish to have the story shared online on their facebook page.

To those who have seen the story who have shared your sweet thoughts with me…thank you. It’s been touching to see the response from those who have seen it – I know many are just as appreciative as I am that the media has begun to show an interest in helping create awareness of spina bifida. I’ve begun to receive messages from several people who have seen the story that I don’t know who are somehow affected by spina bifida…I’m honored to know this photography I’ve been doing the past three years has touched so many lives. I love hearing from all of you who have been touched by all this work I’ve been doing with our families affected by spina bifida in central Florida.
