Love you, so happy everything is somewhat okay! I love the picture of Jaylen and Chance, one of my favorites!
I think you’re the only person that could ever take absolutely beautiful pictures even in a hospital! Amazing. And I’m very glad to hear that Chance is doing ok.
I just came out today from ER and its the exact same thing they told me my babys ventriculs are much smaller then the last time we went in to get a vp shunt replacement he has swen also thats why i took him

I know I shouldn’t, but I LOVE the curly feet of SB and clubbed foot… reminds me of when my little guy was just a peanut (and I didn’t have the means or resources for fabulous pictures like you take to remember him by!)
Not to worry, before Mary knows it little Mason will be so big and active and thriving that nothing like a little (said with tongue in ckeek) SB will hold him back. These kids are miraculous. Each and every one of them!
Beautiful pictures, once agian, of course Amanda!
Beautiful, sweet boy. Beautiful pictures!
These are beautiful! Wonderful job Amanda and what a good looking little Mason.
What a handsome little guy! You did an amazing job on these, his parents will cherish them forever.
These are so moving, you did a wonderful job for a very special little boy!
What a week it’s been. This time last week I was getting ready for surgery thinking it wouldn’t be that big of a deal…here I am a week later. It’s been a much tougher week than I imagined it would have been. I’m finally getting a little caught up with things…like photos. I posted photos […]

At 19 weeks pregnant I had my ultrasound and was ecstatic to find out we were having a baby boy. But then I was crushed to find out our little boy had a neural tube defect. Not knowing anything about Spina Bifida or Hydrocephalus my mind went to the worst place possible. In doing online research my mother-in-law stumbled upon your website. I read your blog like a freak. Your and Chances story really gave me something to rely on. And really let me know what to expect, which I believe is very important because I had no idea what we were about to experience. My little champ will be 4 months at at the end of the month. He has been through 3 surgeries (one on his back and two shunt surgeries). He has great movement in his legs and feet and at our last Dr appointment they said his muscle tone was also great and he would exceed all our expectations. I am very hopeful for our little guy. So to show a tiny bit of my appreciation for you sharing your story with the world I voted for you. I cant thank you enough for giving me hope for my little boy. Thank you, Emily
“Things pass, and the best we can do is to let them really go away.” ~Paul Coelho I’ve made it past another surgery. Yesterday was a bit of a blur and I definitely wasnt in any shape to be updating anyone by phone, email or my blog…so my apologies to those of you waiting for […]

Miss Amanda, you’ve once again shown a remarkable resilience. You always seem to come back to center. Thinkin’ about you, lady and hope you’re feeling well soon!!
Hang in there – hugs and strength.
I am so thankful your surgery went well! I hope the pain takes a hike somewhere else too! Thanks for keeping us updated. Rest well.

“Hope quietly abides in our souls and whispers comfort on our journeys when we need it most.” ~Unknown Tomorrow morning I go into surgery to undergo a laparoscopy. Yes, surgery…again. The topic is something I’ve preferred not to speak much about but after dealing with months of pain since the c-section when I had Chance […]

I felt like I was right there living in this story. I love your photography. Grandma Bistrow’s excitement brought tears to my eyes. The kids are getting cuter everyday! I just want to pinch Chance’s cheeks LOL..he is such a little doll. I wish you the best during your surgery. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, and I can only HOPE for you that the “storm” will soon calm. I know you want to show your super powers like Chance, but you will never beat him so you should just drop out of the game now!jk..;)
*Hugs*,
Jessica
Okay Amanda, loved walking through the surprise, loved all of the pictures, but I have to admit, I hated crying as the tears rolled down while my agents walked by asking me “what’s wrong”? Not a very pleasant site I guess for them first thing in the morning seeing me cry over my computer!!!!!!
