“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.” – Ambrose Redmoon Last night I received a call that no spouse of police officer wants to receive, thankfully it was not “the call” I’ve always feared, but one that has left me moved. Jason called […]

Thanks you for posting this he was loved by many and will be forgotten by none!
Lovely sentiment, Amanda. I’m going to share this with my friend and neighbor who is also an OCS Deputy.
Thank you for writing this post

I am a (now retired) LEO from Scotland, who was royally treated by members of OCSD when I and my family first vacationed in the Orlando area back in ’94. We truly were among friends, although we had never met any of them before then.
I, and all past and present LEOs (and families) worldwide, share your loss and your pain.
God Bless the fallen officer and his family – and ALL law enforcement officers everywhere.

Thank you for putting this image together for all of us to use in honor of Brandon.
Amanda, This is beautiful. I have known your husband for at least 8 years and he has always made me laugh. He isn’t on my side of town much anymore since he went to TAC.I work at the B.P.East 50 and Bonnieville overnights. But, Jason was there for me when ever I would put a call in. He and James, Robbie and Jeff. They would stop by and check on us. I know so many leo’s thru the store and I pray for their safety everyday. This year my daughter married a state trooper out of Tampa. And I couldn’t be more proud. Tell Jason he is in my prayers and I miss seeing him and I said to please stay safe. And I am so sorry for his squad’s loss. And my prayers go out to Deputy Coates family.
Amanda,
Your photographs of this emotional day are amazing. Thank you for capturing these moments. You truely have a gift and I am confident that you will win some awards for your pictures. Thank you!

My brother, D/S Jonathan “Scott” Pine, was the most recent OCSO deputy killed in the line of duty, in February. I’ve had this photo as my Facebook cover photo since shortly after his death. Thank you for this beautiful photo. I hope there will be no more need for mourning badges.
This past weekend I met with Ricardo, his sisters, and their newest cousin, Jackson. Just last month I met with them for Jackson’s newborn photos. Not much has changed in the last month, little Jackson was a sleepy little guy. As much as part of me was wishful to do more newborn style photos with […]

This past weekend I had some fun taking photos with twins, Jalen & Cayla. If you’ve been following my photography you likely remember their newborn photos a little over a year ago or perhaps their 9 month old photos over the summer. Now that their a little over a year old we had hopes to […]
